Changing Collision Properties In Models?

How would you go about editing:
CBaseEntity::PhysicsSolidMaskForEntity

Would that be edited in the entity's .QC file?

I am looking for a way to have the entity's collision box behave normally to everything but entities of the same type and player entities (to prevent clogging and things getting stuck).
