Hi, I'm here to ask for what people may think is wrong with some compiled viewmodels of mine.

I've been re-animating the viewmodels of Fortress Forever, and I've so far re-animated the Super Shotgun, Pellet Gun, and the Tranquilizer Gun. The problem that comes up here, is the fact that the Tranquilizer Gun and Super Shotgun's idle animations do not work. The gun glitches out, fingers move like crazy, the who viewmodel disappears for ten seconds, etc. It's really odd, and I haven't been able to fix it, or discover why the Pellet Gun doesn't have these issues.

The .qc file inputs for the idle animations across each model are the same, so don't think that something mustn't be working right in that. I actually think it may be in Fortress Forever's code (the animations in the model viewer work fine), but that really doesn't make sense...

    To see if it's actually the animation or the game doing it, you could try swapping it out for another idle animation that's completely still, then check what happens.

    I do believe I've replaced the Tranq's with a single frame before, and it still happened. That's why it's confusing; why did the Pellet Gun's animations work perfectly fine, then?

    (I noticed it was the 200000th thread when I posted it, thanks for the congrats I guess xD )

    Perhaps another animation is playing that you don't know of, maybe it's just compiling the wrong things the wrong way.
