Make VMT's 1 to 1000 at a time

VMT Maker Release support, discussion, more toole -> VMT maker is a 1 to 10,000 VMT creator. Features: Configurable naming for images Default is: _DISP - displacement maps _NRM - normal maps _SPEC - specular maps _OCC - occlusion maps - you can adjust this to a darker greyscale and then use it as $phongexponenttexture Automatically finds all the images that are available for any given texture image and adds them to the VMT with all available configurations Automatically finds displacement maps, normal maps, specular maps, occulsion maps which follow the naming convention Automatically adds detail to the texture if the surfaceprop is Dirt, Brick, Concrete, Metal or Plaster - Valve Detail textures are included and must be extracted to the materials folder ( \materials\detail) You can cancel the auto adding of detail Automatically adds envmap, envmapcontrast, envmaptint, envmapsaturation if specular image is found. All env settings are adjustable from interface VertexLitGeneric shader makes phong available, and phong boost, phongfresnalranges are adjustable from interface. If _OCC image is found it is placed as the phongexponenttexture, if no texture is found phongexponent is added at the default value. WorldTwoTexture and WorldVertexTransition shaders are supported in single file mode When the shader is selected the appropriate choices are exposed for configuration Selective VMT Creation - when a texture name, less the extension, is placed in this textbox VMT Maker makes a single VMT no matter how many other textures are in the same folder. Edit VMT - this button starts your default VMT editor at the folder location that you are working with VTF file converter - convert between tga, bmp, png, jpg, vtf in a batch process Thanks out to Jed and NEM for their work on VFTlib, I wrapped NEM's VTFCmd and set default settings for VTF's for use in Counter strike source ( ver 7.2 among others) With the file converter there is a file browser which fills with the contents of the folder that is being converted. The entries are editable by left clicking on a file. Hint*** use the converter file browser when making selective VMT's so you can see the files to place in the Selective VMT create textbox. basically VMT Maker allows you to do all your texture work from one application and create well formed complete VMT's Aquire the texture - convert the texture - make the VMT. sLaYDoGg
