This is a spray I made somewhere in 2010, 6 years ago as of today!  It's based on a logo I found in one of the puzzle maps in HL2 Deathmatch. Now I'm being told it's from SourceForts - game I've never heard of before, until now. (PS: I have no idea who made the logo, but if it buggers you so much why don't you find out and tell me).

Anyway I made this to remember all the good times we had on puzzle servers in HL2 Deathmatch. For those who don't know, puzzle maps had a wave of popularity back in 2008-2010. They would consist of a main lobby area, and up to 12 doors, each leading to some kind of challenge area. The goal was to get to teleporter in each area. Once all the doors were  done, the door to final area would open, and everyone would rush in to finish the final puzzle, it was usually a maze or a co-op area.

What had the most appeal to me about this style of game is that it encouraged people to just slow down, hangout and have fun, for no other reason than just to talk about random things - a kind of a club. Nobody would usually rush to finish anything, it took an hour on average to finish a single map, even if you knew how to do it, many of them were just tedious.

My favorites were always with cranes. There's nothing so satisfying as dropping a crate on your entire team.

Alas all good things must come to the end, and puzzle maps are dead, and most of you are probably wondering what the hell I'm talking about, but If you do happen to be a puzzle map veteran, now you can show it off with this spray!

spray image is actually a rendered 3d model, extruded from a logo and
sculpted in ZBrush. Render was done in Modo and I drew mask in PS. I
still have a few hundred megabytes of source files from it, but they are
all in obsolete file formats and cannot be opened. tracking pixel
