How to replicate fun_allinone style maps?

Hey there,

Are there any tutorials out there that somebody could link to on here that will provide some instructions on how I can create something similar to fun_allinone? Where users get sent to a random mini-map and a weapon attached to them? I sort of get the idea of how I would use triggers to open random doors, etc.. but it would be very helpful if there was a tutorial out there somewhere. Decompiling the map to check out entities is also an option... I took a few looks but the system is very complex and requires many triggers.

    Decompiling is the best way to learn how a map's entity setup work. There are some great resources at https://twhl.info if you want to learn about all the entities.

    It look complex but it's not that hard to do.
    You need to learn how to use multi_manager, trigger_teleport, func_door, trigger_once/trigger_multiple and a lot more.

    It's a really good idea to decompile the map and check how it works by creating new one step by step.

    I have fixed your map, you didn't used multi_manager properly and game_counter wasn't configured right. I've changed textures because I had missing .wad file and func_door is now toggleable, if you want to continue you should add some trigger_hurt to kill afk players and force them to use teleport. You need to set up trigger_hurt like that env_beam, because it will stay next round enabled.
