Sonic 3Master - A Mod for Sonic Mania.
This is the result of my life-long dream, to have Sonic 3-based sprites instead of the Sonic 1-based Sprites the Mania team decided to give our blue hedgehog.
This mod was started by dubble_dare but misteriously vanished from the site. However, I managed to catch it on time and I've been working hard on finishing it.
The mod includes virtually all of Sonic 3's sprites and animations for both Sonic and Super Sonic, but they're given Mania style shading and therefore look better than ever. Super Sonic was also given more consistent Super state sprites which were missing before the 1.04/Plus Update.
Everything in this mod is made by me, except for:
Sonic's standing, running, jogging, dashing, rolling and waiting animations, which were done by dubble_dare,
And sucessfully porting the mod to make it Plus compatible, done by NSMug.
I've also took heavy influence and based some of my work on MysteriousAeon's fantastic but sadly abandoned Sonic 3 Mania and his Sonic 3 Complete Super Sonic sprite sheet.

I'm noticing this with most of the sonic 3 sonic mods, super sonic has this weird grey line around his eyes and it bothers me a lot. Does anybody else notice that as well? I'd really like that fixed. URL to post: -

When trying to install the 3master palette it gives me a 404 error.

The mod works perfectly save for one minor bug; for some reason, Sonic loses all momentum at the curved ends of the Oil Ocean slides. It's nothing game breaking, but it prevents the player from taking many of the higher paths. It appears to be an issue with all Sonic 3 derived mods.
