A complete revamp of a map!

The original version one Santuary was basically a ported version of Wanted! Capture-The-Chicken map.

The original was slightly resized, as GoldSource and Source had a different size. I completely forgotten what's the size multiplier when porting the Wanted map to TF2 map.

It was just end of last year (October) that I decided to do a complete revamp of the map.

Since the Corona virus lockdown, I decided to focus on completing this revamped.

There are some parts which I'm not satisfied with.

    You should consider when detailing the map to detail it like an actual TF2 map rather than an Overwatch map. Replace all the torches with industrial caged lights. You could make it a water treatment plant. Replace the pit of death around the control point with some water that would make the neon annihilator pretty useful. You could even have it setup where there's a waterfall beneath the giant balcony where the Large Medkit is.

    Overall I think a lot of Overwatch maps would work really well for TF2 with some liberties taken to prevent certain obvious ways that would ruin gameplay and some no builds placed in egregious sentry spots, player clips on roofs that are usually accessible in Overwatch, that kind of stuff.

    Seeing every Overwatch map layout with a TF2 Art pass and game play concessions made to work better with TF2's classes is my dream. I've always loved Overwatch's level layouts.

    I would recommend to lower the amount of cubemaps. They sure do look nice, but end up bloating the file size. The amount of cubemaps in that one room seems concerning.
