  • Improvement Rebuild models of a few buildings as brushes for better lighting

  • Suggestion Working on restoring the Phong shading on barrels/lamps accurate to Trailer 2
I'm working on a Trailer 2 accurate version of 2Fort.
Most of the brushwork has already been completed, currently I am troubleshooting with some rendering and lighting issues. 

As you can (hopefully) see in the screenshots above, the map is beginning to resemble the 2006 version of 2Fort. I can not make any promises or estimations on when this map will be finished and released on the Steam Workshop, as I am working on it every now and then and I don't plan on rushing it.

Please let me know in the comment section below if you have any suggestions on what I should change or add to the map while I'm working on it. Maybe there are some small details I have missed from the trailer.

    Also the outlets in the walls of the RED intel room are actually the same color as the wall in the trailer. May want to compile a separate outlet model with a different set of textures so you can make that consistent as well.

    In the Xbox 360 Orange Box trailer, I saw the sign on top of the sewer entrance is different. Instead of a metal sign saying "Intelligence", it's a plain, flat sign.

    would you edit the material files to be beta like or is this only gonna be map based? 
    just wanted to know because in a beta trailer there is a fire extinguisher that isnt shiny in beta but shiny in retail

    You should recreate the RED tower out of brushes so when VRAD generates the lighting the tower looks properly on the inside and outside. I already did this on 2fort for my personal use in SFM.
