Uriah's model improved to remove more clipping
Uriah now has a new ID badge to reflect model change
We still haven't been able to fix the two weird animation bugs. Two screenshots of said issues have been uploaded.
Working on porting Brain Dead's Classic Aslave to HL2 and it's Episodes. First model remake that I'm aware of for the Vortigaunt and I knew this had to be a replacer. I initially wasn't going to make a WIP since I thought it wouldn't take as long as it did but I decided to then make this (and to maybe get help/suggestions on the two current bugs).
Features: - Classic model remake of the HL1 Vortigaunt - Replaces all variants (Vortigaunt, slave, blue, and Uriah) - Uriah now has a new ID badge to reflect the model change - Mouths do move when they talk (thanks to a working VTA that came with it)
To Do: - Attempt to fix two known animation bugs - Attempt to add in blinking (Thanks CW3D for that idea)
Issues: - HL2: Chef Vort in elevator ride is turned to the left - EP1: at least one blue Vort T-Poses during the intro Gman scene - EP2: Uriah may still experience minor clipping during certain animations
Future Additions/Ideas: - Hl2 styled retexture of Classic Aslave

I think I'm going to go ahead and upload it soon. The EP1 bug is the only really noticeable issue (the chef vort isn't as noticeable) and we tried just about everything we can think of. Removing LODs, removing the VTA, adding in the Ep1 animations into the QC itself, even removed the ragdoll smd (which made things worse), and etc but no luck. I even contacted Brain Dead (the guy who made the model) about it and still no luck. To help make up for that I improved on Uriah further again to remove more minor clipping (still focused on his EP2 animations, anything else still may experience minor clipping) and I also made a HL2 styled shackles retexture to go with it. If anyone really knows how to fix this particular type of bug to please contact us and we'll credit you for a working patch/fix.
Right now we're working on giving them the flexes in the QC to blink. Regarding the T-pose in EP1 issue, we tried just about everything we can think of. If we still can't get it then I'll just mark it down as a known issue.
With the Blue Vort that T-poses, I feel closer to fixing the issue. It either does that or a still idle animation. I'm thinking that with enough messing around in the QC, maybe I could get it to play the proper animation.
Haven't done much to the Chef Vort as a result but I also started trying to make some decent screenshots and have a idea or two for the cover image.
