Don't forget to consider the use of "name_of_texture_Chrome.bmp" are for static models only. When you want the shading to be the same as the texture and not have much light on it, remove the name "Chrome" but still put it on Chrome.
from "name_of_texture_Chrome.bmp" to "name_of_texture.bmp" but still let the Chrome on the HLMV checked.
It will make a huge difference.
