Lol front page wow. Nice. I might actually finish this. Maybe

It's not as bad as i thought it'd be, but it certainly needs improvement. I also need to figure out how to get it in game. I know i can use crowbar to import and export stuff but i dont know how to asign bones to this model so that i can can actually give it animations. I was thinking of re-using the default ones.

Add major details on the model/More polygons
Add little details
Make a texture
Implement Skeleton and animations

Seeing that you're using Blender, I think I might know how to fix your smoothing problem.

What you want to do is set your model's shading to "smooth" by default. Now add a modifier called "Edge Split". Uncheck "Edge Angle".

Then you go into edit mode. You'll want to select all the edges that you want to be sharp. After you have them all selected, go to...

Mesh > Edges > Mark Sharp
(or you could just hit the space bar and type in "mark sharp")

And there you have it. Here's a comparison I made with some cylinders. The left one only has smooth shading applied.

The smoothing is painful to look at, you need to add some hard edges.

Also, I don't know why people keep re-doing the gravity gun when it's already been done more than 10 times, unless it's for practice or something
    Somewhat inactive modder.

Be sure to mark appropriate faces and edges as flat.

It certainly needs polishing but there's a mayor detail that you missed
and it's that the gravity gun in hl2 has only one side grip
