All of the numerous belts have now been given better textures.
The metallic parts of the belt have been given their own meshes, rather than being painted onto the belts.
I rotated the arms solely for the newest pic. Don't worry, the arms are still properly T-posed in the 3DS Max scene.
I've also made some extremely minor color and detail adjustments to the parts I've already finished.
This will also be the last "daily" progress update. Future progress updates will be made whenever I make decent enough progress on the model.
So yeah, I'd been working on a model import of Cloud's Kingdom Hearts outfit. As was usual from me, I recreated the outfit's meshes and textures in a higher quality to better match Smash 4's art style.
I first had the idea to make this mod back in September 2016, but put it on hold because I didn't feel confident enough in my modeling/texturing abilities to pull it off. I finally began working on the mod about half-a-month ago, and I've already made some decent progress.
As of August 22nd, 2017, the mod has been released! The model is finished, all of the SWG bones I've added in work nicely and aren't causing any issues (like crashing, which was happening, but has since been fixed,) and the wing is set to only appear during specific animations (as seen in this Twitter video.) Additionally, I've made all 3 of the recolors I wanted to make for this mod, as well as all of the UI images. You can even get an early look at the model (and its render pose) via the embedded Sketchfab viewer.
As a final note, I don't do mod requests. I prefer importing models that I want to import, so please do not ask me to make any specific model imports for you.
Thank you so much for making this! KH is my favorite game series of all time, and I main cloud in smash 4 Seeing a mod like this being made is like a dream come true for me, it's being so well done too! Hoping this gets released soon, I can't wait to test it out
