This is DK Island from the game "Donkey Kong 64", made back in 1999. I'm turning this classic location into a Team Fortress 2 map.

How will it turn out? I have no idea!
I will however post regularly updates on the map here.

    I hate Team Fortress 2, but I think I'll play it just so I can try your amazing DK64 maps (also can't wait for this one to get released!)

    Looks so bland without the vertex coloring, but I am confident you will deliver a quality map in the end!

    Regarding the tiling issue...

    The N64 is using several small images that is applied to its models. Since the images are applied randomly across the faces, it's inevitable that tiling occurs.

    The way around this is to re-texture the models. This is not something I'm planning to do at the moment since I'm still working on collision meshes.
