*What Is This*
This is a modpack that aims to bring back elements from the past iterations of the Super Smash Bros. Series into one game. This means stages, characters, music, modes, sounds, UI, and more.
*What This Is Not*
An alphabet project, brawl modpack revitilization, or a simple skin and moveset pack. Super Smash Bros. All Stars aims to change more and become unique while keeping past elements as close to their original as possible.
*Current New Modes*
- Reverse Release All Star Mode - Video - New Events in Event Mode - Video
You can now make custom versions of Super Smash Bros. All Stars! Download the Unpacked version to get started. To add in content created and released seperately from the main build, click the Extra Releases tab above! What will you create?
I started making this myself, however, plenty of people have allowed me to use their work for this project. You can view the full list of people in the list linked above. These people worked very very hard and I appreciate them working with me to make this happen. Please respect their work and creations and know the following: I myself did not make all of the skins, music, sounds, animations, stages, and other elements, and do not claim to own them, use them for financial gain, for defamation, or use them in a way not intended by the original creator without conversating about it. If a mod creator feels that their work used here should not be here, or was not asked for, please contact me so I can remove it immediately. This is a project made by a fan, for a fan, and I want to respect all parties involved.
Super Smash Bros. All Stars is an unofficial fan-made modification of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. It, nor the SSBAS Dev Team, own the Super Smash Bros. series or any of the elements in it. SSBAS is in no way affiliated with Nintendo, HAL Laboratory, Sora LTD., or it's affiliates.
Man all of this would be cool on 3DS, I really hate how limited the 3DS version is and that stops us from having stuff like this on the go without lugging around a huge backpack or a bulky handheld that looks like a big brick from pretty far
i feel like the team could possibly focus on the classic costumes first now in my opinion because one will possibly have all of the stages in ultimate but not all the costumes made in this pack you know lol?
The end of an era… Edit: I knew that you would come back. There's definitely things in this modpack that Ultimate is very unlikely to have. The 64/Melee/Brawl costumes (as well as all of them being here + the "styled" costumes) are an example of such.
I had this project in the back of my mind when I watched the direct. This is exactly what I thought might happen/would have done myself in the same situation. It's a conflicting feeling to work on something so hard and and discover it being accomplished elsewhere. It's happy to see the dream come true, meanwhile heart breaking to find that countless hours are wasted. I'd say that this is more sweet than bitter but I'm grateful for all the time put into this. Your team should still be proud of what it's accomplished and I look forward to seeing what any you may have planned next.
