So this is one of the things I've been working on for a while.
Basically, you know how all those HL2 beta sweps have atrociously bad anims and no c_arms support? Since I'm pragmatic af I decided to start taking care of that.
So far I've finished a rough anims set for the HMG, OICW, Ice Axe, and Shotgun. I'm currently re-starting the sniper-rifle, and I'm going to take a crack at the MP5K and AK-47. I'll have to re-rig the Ice Axe, MP5K and AK-47 though, since the Ice Axe has no finger bones, MP5K supports only one arm, and AK-47 isn't even on Valve.biped.
I'm using blender screenshots of the v_models since they're compatible with the animations, and the c_models are essentially the same thing but with the arms mesh removed. Also, blender allows for better screenies then Gmod imho. Gifs and ingame pics will come soon.
UPDATE: I figured out how to take two models in blender and stitch them together with their respective skeletons and vertex groups. This means I can pretty much animate everything. I'll get back onto working on this now.
