Modelling a Magazine fr Scar
- A Work In Progress for GameBanana.
I learnt to Model by using tons of tuts. My Model. Magazine fr Scar H. [Reference](http://www.sturmgewehr.com/bhinton/MiscRiflesPistols/FN_SCAR-H_Lg.jpg "ref"). UV mapping nt dun.
Update - Better bullet layout
Looks like a pretty solid model, but there are a couple of things I'd note.
- The grooves on the magazine look a bit deep compared to your reference. They also seem to be mostly flat instead of curved how you have them.
- The thickness in some parts of the mag seem, well, too thick? Leaves less space for the bullets in the mag (which seem a bit small for the magazine/type of round).
- Lastly, I'd round out the end of those bullets a bit; they look a bit too sharp/cone-like.
Overall it's still a good model and could be easily tweaked. Also, in some of the images Daisuke linked, try and replicate that rounded top feature most mags have. The Scar mag doesn't really have as much as an overhang as some other mags (M4, M16) but it is indeed still rounded. (Compare his 'bullets' image with the 'in the air' one :p)

Yes, proper references for the SCAR-H magazine are few and far between, but you should deal with that by referencing other, similar magazines (say, the M14 magazine or the Mk.16 magazine) and adapting as necessary from your existing SCAR-H ref photos.
Thanks.
I'm pretty sure bullets don't just float in the air like that.
