I was doing the same with a weapon for skinning following Racer445's but I've dumped that now. I just dont have the time with Uni work and any free time I get I spend working at Concept Dept. stuff.

Modelling looks alright, mesh is already high-polying it up but you plan to bake, I'd have a look at that eye region though just for neatness sake and to make the UVing less weird
