Lol, I'm gonna disappoint alot of people with this. Some dude once said he'd open up my textures in awe to see all the detail I added that wouldn't even be seen ingame.
This time, I didn't do that. I spent about two weeks less on nitpicking and adding useless detail, and tried to focus on what matters - what you can actually see.
Also, there will be no chrome version. Many will hate me for this, but in my futile trials to make one better than twinke, it still falls short, and thus the point of it is moot.
If the populous wishes for a twotone, they can hack twinke's texture over mine. That's how i got started with texturing some 10 years ago.
Don't you worry stealthy, I'm not releasing with those smoothing errors. You might wanna fix up your compile if you want releasies on this.
I promised you some better crits on CDG, so here goes nothing.
Overall, the weapon seems too blueish. I like it, but I'm guessing some people won't enjoy it as much as myself. Perhaps a version that's a tad less saturated?
The grip is good looking mate, but the center part should have an edge around it, I think. It looks odd right now. The grip aren't showed off a lot in-game, but for the sake of the render and overall epicness, do something about it. :)
I would also either brighten or darken the trigger.
Btw, can we see a render of the back too?
