Hello, in this tutorial I will be teaching newbies or people who are just trying to brush up on their zombie mod technique some tips and strategies too, as I have just said zombie mod. I will split this tutorial into 2 parts: Humans and Zombies.
Right first of all is what weapon to pick? Well for a start follow my golden rule: "Ammo and reload time
before damage and accuracy" So basically your new best friend of a weapon is either a p90 or a machine gun. I would use a p90 since the reload time is much faster than a machine gun. Also you may consider using a shotgun because the reload per bullet is very fast and can knock the zombies back along way back :D Now when you have a weapon you've got to pick your camping spot right? So your going to be looking for 3 kind of spots:
A baricade or "cade" spot, A roof spot (which can mean just
a high up spot too) or an on the move spot which involves you
just randomly running around the map until you find your zombie
The Barricade Spot
This refers to you using the props around you as a block to slow down the zombies in trying to get you, in which gives you time to pump iron in there ***es xP. When trying to make a barricade
try to pick a place which only has one entrance so you don't have to constantly watch your back. Also, if someone comes in your spot starts shooting at it even when they can jump over your props to
get in just help them destroy it and find another spot because this person clearly is going to be a flaw in your survival. Your prop friends will be vending machines and book shelves mainly. You probably bring a few friends but like I said if they mess with your "cade don't work with them again unless they say it was an accident. One last point, if you make a barricade above the ladder be aware because the physics are a bit messed up and so the zombies can proceed up the ladder with ease.
There isn't much to say about this spot other than this one major
point which is always the fail to the last survivers.
DONT STAND NEAR THE EDGE YOU NUB OR YOULL SURELY BE INFECTED If some is near the edge put your gun at their head because I know that 100% of the time these people get infected.
Out in the open
If your just out exploring the map or can't get a good spot, make sure you do not I repeat DO NOT! waste your ammo or spray. If the zombie retreats don't keap firing, they are clearly trying to trick you, just reload and then the jokes on them =D. Also if you are being chased by a zombie remember to
watch your back too, it's what they do, they get their friends to meet them round the corner and then they infect you.
Right now if you see people going in the direction of your spot, just find another one because the chances is one of them has the virus or will just screw up the spot. Finally don't ever waste
ammo because this could be the difference between surviving or being infected and on that subject don't lose concentration. Also, remember to be looking everywhere for the zombies because they could
be planning something under your nose!
For a start if you keap getting knocked back by a human keap trying, if you keap dieing then get back up from the other zombies using team chat. Also, exploit the noobs humans of zombie mod because they are key to killing the others =D. When your dealing with a "cade" don't just run into it press e and pull it and also try and exploit the humans by getting them to shoot at it. If you see someone in a spot that is like impossible to get to just say screw you to them "not literally" and go find other humans unless of course thats the last one. If your a zombie liking person then at the start follow the
majority of humans and hope that you get infected so you can pwn them lol. Now if the server you play has a !zmenu then you should be looking at zombies which are fast but have low knock back iswell so your not just a sitting duck. I would go for the low knock back before speed but really it is your oppinion but really if you have low knock back it is way easier. One last point for the zombie section, when trying to infect a human use the left click more as it is much faster and if you miss the human when your close up you will get them in the next second unlike the right click which may cause the human to get away.
Anyway thats it from me comment :D
Made some presentation changes from the commented suggestions below
added to the human section about knock back (can't belive I forgot it)
I dont agree everything u said
for ex, u said choose a one entry room is better
it not always true
first: there r secret spot, teleporter, and hidden tunnle remember?
second: its also depend on where is it and how many people too! if it next to zombie spawn and it is easy to get there then it still not good, it will be better if the room is hard to find or get to.
third: sometimes it will be better if camp at a high spot instead of try to build a cade
four:props is also improtant, i rather chose a room with two entry that got two money block thing in it then a room have three vening machine
this thing really count on what map and where on the map bro
Readability: Your formatting's bunged, you've got 2-3 words every other line and then a full line of text. Fix and i'll rerate.
Simplicity: Short and to the point, like a good Tips and Tricks should be.
Usefulness: You forgot to include knockback in your weapon tips. On standard zombiemod settings the pump shotty has OBSCENE knockback and one guy with a pump can EASILY be the most valuable member of your group. The TMP is also a beastly headshot machine and can have great knockback too.
On the zombie side you've skipped the benefits of stacking entirely and completely failed to mention the differences between leftclick's range and accuracy and right-click's shorter and less accurate nature.
