Hi! I want to show you a easy way to make a background to your CSS! Tools used: VTFEdit. Link: http://nemesis.thewavelength.net/files/files/vtfedit125-11.exe Step 1 Open VTFEdit, and press Import. (Look at picture number 1) Step 2 Find the picture you want to have. Select it and open it. (Look at picture number 2) Step 3 Press Save As... and put the picture into C:\Program Files/Valve/Steam/SteamApps/your-accountname/counter-strike source/cstrike/materials/console and rename the picture to: background01 and save it! (Look at picture number 3) Step 4 Open CSS and enjoy your new own background! (Look at picture number 4) ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Do you want to uninstall the background, just go to C:\Program Files/Valve/Steam/SteamApps/your-accountname/counter-strike source/cstrike/materials/console and delete background01.vtf ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Hope this tutorial did help! (: Thanks to: My cat, The photographer (myself) And the many tutorials on the internet!

I made one, but now the menu won't load! it just sits at the background screen with the little black loading box at the lower right corner

What the ....? And you did as the tutorial? I can try search for a solution. Cant understand how it should could happen by making the background different

    [EDIT]
Cant find anything at the moment. But try check if the settings, in VTF Edit. Maybe it could be that.

    Hi!

Its simple enough. You just create a new folder called console.
Always. if you are missing a folder for some kind a file. You can just create it, the rigth place. if you get me.
