How to Install Custom Textures in PCSX2 - A Tutorial for Sonic Unleashed (ps2).

Video Tutorial by GeniusBug

Requirements:

-PCSX2 (I'd recommend the nightly version personally)
-Sonic Unleashed PS2 Rom

  1.  After downloading your texture pack of choice, go to your PCSX2 directory
    2. Find the "textures" folder, if there is not a textures folder then create one
    3. Make a new folder within it and name it "SLUS-21846"
    4. Make another folder within the "SLUS-21846" folder and name it "replacements"
    5. Move your texture files into the "replacements" folder (they'll probably be .dds files)
    6. Open PCSX2 and go to "Settings", then "Graphics"
    7. Make sure the "Load Textures, Asynchronous Texture Loading and Precache Textures" boxes are checked
    8. If the "Search Directory" is incorrect then click "Browse" and set it to the "textures" folder
    9. Now you can launch Sonic Unleashed in PCSX2 and the textures should work!
