Installing mods on Android - A Tutorial for Friday Night Funkin'.

after many years

Some notes before we get started.

This mod is for luckydog7's port tutorial. Download their port from GitHub here.
The program we are going to be using for editing is 7-zip. If you do not have access to a computer, I recommend using APK Editor Pro.
This method does work with executable mods.
This is not a tutorial on how to install mods on the desktop version of the game. The thing you're looking for is here.

That done, let's start.

Preparations

First, you should already have the .apk installed somewhere on your computer. If not, install it from here.
Second install 7.zip. If you already have it, skip to the next step. If not, get it here.
This is all you need, time to go to import some mods!

Importing mods

Locate your .apk file from 7-zip. When you find it, right click on it and press Open Inside.
This should show you 4 folders and 3 files. The folder in our interest is assets. Open it.
Inside that folder, there is ANOTHER assets folder. Open that one too. Now, open your mods' .zip in another window. Copy all the folders from your mod and paste them into the .apk. Replace all duplicate files.

Finishing up

Now, copy your .apk from your computer to your phone using an USB cable. If you use any other file transferring methods, you can use that. Last, open the .apk from your phone and install the update. You're done! Your phone client should now have the required mods.

IMPORTANT: If your phone returns "Failed to install" when trying to install the application, download ZIPSigner on your phone (It's not on the Play Store so you need to find an apk. online) and sign the application.

Thanks for coming this far, and hope you had fun modding.
