Before we begin, make sure you have mods enabled in the options!
First, download your mods and place them in the correct folders.
Stages go in the Stages folder
Themes go in Mods/MenuThemes
Voices go in Mods/Voices
Once you've done that, open the launcher if it isn't open already, and click on MODS.
1. Adding Stage and Theme ModsAt the top, click on the Stages or Menu Themes tab, depending on which mods you're going to install.
On the left is a list of mods, and on the right is the XML file in which mods are loaded from.
Click on the Generate button, located at the top right. This will generate the XML file for you! No need to do it manually, unless you want to. And if you do want to edit it manually, you can click the Edit Mode button. Remember to hit Save when you're done!
Note: You're only allowed to have 7 themes active at a time! To access your custom themes, go to the options menu, go to Game Themes, and when you're there, press right.
And that's basically it! But... what about voice mods? Well, there is no way to generate an XML for those at this time, however, you can still edit it manually. Here's how.
2. Adding Voice ModsTo add voice mods, first, click on the Voices tab. A list of voice mods will still appear on the left like normal. After you've done that, click on Edit Mode, and fill out the XML like so:
char no="1" = Sonic
char no="2" = Tails
char no="3" = Shadow
After that, click save, and you're done! You've successfully added mods to your game! Have fun!
