Instructions for compiling models for SMOD! - A Tutorial for SMOD

So, today I will explain to you how to compile a model for SMOD! To do this, we need the following programs:

1)Crowbar (https://steamcommunity.com/groups/CrowbarTool)
2)Source SDK (http://www.mediafire.com/file/bircl3uaaq2zi22/CSMSDKarch.rar/file)
(Not obligatory) If you need detailed instructions on how to make player models, custom weapons, and a targeting system, then here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/xl0uswoqbrfxii8/%25D0%25A1%25D0%25BF%25D1%2580%25D0%25B0%25D0%25B2%25D0%25BE%25D1%2587%25D0%25BD%25D0%25B8%25D0%25BA_%25D0%25BF%25D0%25BE_SMOD_%25D0%25BC%25D0%25BE%25D0%25B4%25D0%25B8%25D0%25BD%25D0%25B3%25D1%2583%2521.zip/file

1)Decompilation

So, you have installed all the necessary programs, now let's get started! First you need to decompile the model, it's very simple. you need to open the Crowbar, go to the "decompile" tab and specify the path to the model itself and the folder where the decompiled model will be sent. (See screenshot # 1, decompilation, simply put, is parsing the model into component parts that you can edit)

2)installing the Source SDK build

after that, you need to install our SDK build, for this you need to download the source SDK itself (it is located in Steam, in the "Tools" tab), then just go to the root folder of your SDK and just copy the files of our build there and replace everything that is proposed to replace. (See screenshot # 2)

3)Configuring Crowbar

After that, you need to configure the Crowbar (see screenshot # 3) there, you just need to specify the path to the files that the program itself requests.

4)Compilation

Now we go to the final stage, just compile the model, you need to specify the path to the QC. the file (it is located in the folder of the decompiled model) and the folder where the finished model will appear (See screenshot number 4) That's all!
