How to add new items

A Tutorial for Baldi's Basics in Education and Learning

To start, I would recommend downloading the Open Source Baldi Project, Since that is the easiest way to get Baldi into Unity. First, duplicate one of the already existing items. Also remember to import a 64px by 64px image you would like to use for the item. After duplicating the item, change the Pickup object of the item to say Pickup_(Your Item Name). Now open visual studio and open the pickupScript.
In the script you will see lots of items, duplicate one of the "else if" statements and duplicate it below the one with the number 9. Change the string to the item name you changed earlier, and the number to 10. Go back to Unity and select the Game Controller Object. Do Down to the Item Sprites in the properties menu and change the number 10 to 11. Now open the GameControllerScript and go down to where you see the item numbers from earlier. This is usually near the bottom. Duplicate the bottom one with 9 and put it under it. Do similar things as last time but delete everything inside of it. Put in your code in between the curly brackets(Me no help with that). Go down even further and you will find the item names. Put yours underneath "Safety Scissors". Now your new item should work!
