A wicked easy and small mod, but a mod none the less. Here we go!
Find an image you like and convert it to .BMPSince we are replacing the splash screen with something, you might as well like that something! For the purpose of goofs and gafs I have decided to choose a PUBG .JPG file online, and convert it using this website.
Buuuuutttt.... it isn't that simple. The image has to be the same dimensions as the original splash image, at least until we can figure out a work around. On my first attempt I choose a 1080p image, and the top and bottom stretched past the screen.
Your image needs to be 640x738p. Anything more won't fit the whole image, anything less will be smaller than it should be. I didn't pick the best image for this conversion either, as my image had to be stretched a little horizontally to fit. Here is a wikihow page on how to do that (eww).
Replace the splash screenFirst you have to find wherever your Fortnite game files are being held. For me it is under C (the letter of my drive)> Program Files> Epic Games> Content> Splash
Inside the Splash folder is a single .BMP file called "Splash.BMP". This is what you want to replace. So just move or delete this file, and then put in the splash file of your choice. Call it "Splash.BMP".
From here open up Fortnite, and if everything goes well your new Splash Screen will appear. Enjoy!
