So CS2D mapping is really easy. When you launch CS2D there should be an option for editor. Click it.
It should take you to a screen with a grid. There should be tiles in the left. So select the tiles you want, click on the grid to place them. After your done with that: Go to the left top Go into entities, place down info_T and info_CT for the spawns.
Then go into tools and test the map out, but you need to name it. Heres all of the name beginnings you need for gamemodes:
very lacking in detail here ..... there are loads of complex mapping methods omitted from implementing lua scripts, to stacking entities indirectly, to sprite placement, to custom tile sets. :/ ... O well not like anyone plays it anymore ... hell ive been outa the mapping and modding loop for it for over 6 years now
