How to Softmod a Play Station 2 (virtual chip) - A Tutorial for GameBanana

After reading forums after forums, guides and tutorials, and even doing myself a lot of trial and error, I've compiled what I think is a complete, solid step by step tutorial on how to softmod a Play Station 2 or install a "Virtual Chip" using the famous FreeMCBoot-OPL method.
I've done this tutorial taking into consideration those PS2 that won't read DVD disks (it's common for PS2 consoles with a faulty lens to stop readin DVDs, but usually those consoles will read CD-R disks jsut fine) , so we will be using a CD-R disk. SO, for this, all you need is a console that can read CD-R disks COPIES/BACKUPS (using any method like swap magic or a physical chip or whatever method possible) since we will be burning the uLaunchELF.iso into a Blank CD-R.

Here's the link with all software needed for this tutorial

Oh the memories. I remember softmoding mine once. I just used the 007 Agent Under Fire retail disc, then when I was about to play the second level, I swapped the CD to my other burnt copy, and then pressed on the level.

From there on, it took me to uLaunchELF, where I managed to locate the FMCB installer and install it into my memory card.

    Good times.
