Hello everyone, D3 here. Today I have a tutorial for all of you on how to apply cheat codes to Breath of the Wild.

1. Introduction

Now, there are two types of ways to put codes on the game, by using the Accio Master Code by MrBean35000vr, or by the Botw Trainer by PandaOnSmack. The Accio code lets you place weapons, materials, NPCs, objects, etc. in front of you, by using JGecko U. Currently, treasure chests and clothing do not work with this code. The Botw Trainer is it's own program and it let's you replace most of your inventory, get free, or unlimited, stamina and hearts, but does not add objects to your inventory. You can also change the amount of rupees and Mon you have, get more sword, shield and bow slots, change the time of day and weather, make the master sword always glowing, and much more. Decide which one you want and follow either section. NOTE: If you have a different way to get to the Homebrew Launcher, or you use the 5.5.2 exploits, then please just use those. This is a 5.5.1 tutorial ONLY for getting on the Homebrew Launcher.

2. Accio Master Code

2.1. What you'll need

1: JGecko U
2: TCPGecko.elf
3: Homebrew Launcher
4: Java (Just get the Latest Version)
5: codehandler.bin
6: An SD Card that is formatted to FAT32
7: Accio Master Code

2.2. Step 1: SD Card Files

Download and extract all the files I've listed above. Put the TCPGecko.elf, codehandler.bin, and Homebrew Launcher files on your SD card so that it looks like this.
SD_CARD:\wiiu\apps\homebrew_launcher\homebrew_launcher.elf
SD_CARD:\wiiu\apps\tcpgecko\tcpgecko.elf
SD_CARD:\wiiu\apps\tcpgecko\codehandler.bin
Put your SD Card in your Wii U.

2.3. Step 2: Wii U and more Computer Steps

On your computer, download Java and go to the page with the Accio Master Code. The first code is the Master Code, copy it by selecting the entire thing and pressing "ctrl" and "c" or by right clicking. Here is the code for anyone who is having trouble:

This took me a very long time. Now, go to your Wii U. On your Wii U, go to the internet browser and type in loadiine.ovh. Select Homebrew Channel 1.4 and wait. Once it pops up, find TCPGecko and open it. It should say something like:
"Press A to install TCPGecko with built in codehandler." If it says something like that, press A. If it says "Press A to install TCPGecko." and "Press X to install TCPGecko with CosmoCortney's codehandler." If it says that, press X. It should also show your Wii U IP address, so remember that. When you go to the home menu, open JGecko U. Deselect "auto-detect" at the bottom and enter your Wii U's IP address, but DO NOT press Connect yet. On your Wii U, open BotW. Load your save file and once you can control Link, connect JGecko U to your Wii U. Now, press "Add Code" and put the Accio Master Code in the red box. If done correctly, the box should turn green. Add the code, select the box next to the code, and press "Send Codes."

2.4. Step 3: Finding and Making Codes

You can either make your own codes or use one of the codes made by MrBean on the page where the Accio Master Code is. Making codes coming soon...

2.4.1. Step 3a: Making Codes

You can make your own codes by finding the name of an object (Master Sword: Weapon_Sword_070) here, and typing in spawn("name of object") and converting it to cafe code, here. Example: spawn("Weapon_Sword_070") will spawn the master sword in front of Link.

3. Botw Trainer

3.1. What you'll need

1: TCP Gecko and the codehandler.bin
2: An SD Card that is formatted to FAT32
3: Homebrew Launcher
4: Botw Trainer
5: List of file names

3.2. Step 1: Setting everything up

The first thing you are going to do is set up your SD Card. So put TCP Gecko, the codehandler.bin, and the homebrew launcher just like I did in the Accio Codes section.
Then you're going to download and extract the Botw Trainer somewhere on your computer, (NOT ON YOUR SD CARD).
Open up the list of file names in a new tab on your favorite browser.

3.3. Step 2: Finishing up

Now when you get back to the Wii U Home Menu, open up BotwTrainer.exe, but don't do anything yet. Then, open up Botw on your Wii U. Once you load a save file, enter in your IP Address and hit connect. All your items should load and you can now replace and edit items using the file list!

4. Conclusion

Anyway, sorry this took so long, happy modding!

There is no "Homebrew 1.4" option on loadiine and now it looks like it autodetects your firmware version.  Mine is 5.5.2 (which seems normal) and I have to choose Delta 1 for it to not crash.  However, no matter what I do, it times out when trying to connect to my Wii U's IP address.

I'm on my 8th try now (since there was something saying it works maybe 60% of the time) and it has happened every single time.

I have everything loaded on the SD card properly from what I can tell.

I am at a loss.  I want to look up more options for setting up TCPGecko but they all skip so many steps it's insanely difficult to follow.  This guide was the only straightforward one but it has the loadiine options wrong so I don't even know it if is letting me select the correct ones anymore.

Would love any input or advice on this.  I felt like I was so close and now it just acts like it can't see my Wii U.

I have a bit of a problem. When I try to connect my Wii U to Gecko, as soon as I press connect, I get an error message telling me to install Gecko on my Wii, even though I have it installed. As soon as I click OK, my whole Wii U freezes.
Here are some notes that may be needed:

    -I'm on 5.5.2
-I use u.drg.li to use Homebrew
-Link was controllable at the time
-I've tried both launching MochaCFW before Gecko, and just directly launching Gecko.
-The Wii U made a long buzzing noise while frozen

So, when I go to connect to my WiiU, and everything is working right... until the moment I click connect. Right after I do, my WiiU just completely crashes to a black screen. What do I do?
