Port mapping from cs:go to cs 1.6 - A Tutorial for Counter-Strike 1.6

Video:


1.Convert map to smd file.

2.Import maps to the program MilkShape 3D (only triangles).Delete the texture and export it as a file Autodesk 3ds.

3.Load the file into blender and set it accordingly ,and merge all groups.

4.Remove UV maps and material, and Remove Doubles

5.Select  the piece of map you want to port and create a separate group. Then use the option add Modifier->Decimate->Planer->Apply.

6.Export the file as .map

7.Open hammer editor and open file .map(If you get mismatched type errors you must remove them).

8.Compile the map and enjoy!!!

    Jackhammer?  Not Valve Hammer Editor?
    valve hammer editor is OUTDATED, jackhammer is the only map creator that can import source maps!

    interesting.... Could I make the port of my favourite map (de_monastery)
    you can port any map from any source engine game, but you also need to port the textures and props, as well apply the textures manually, then cleanup the map and change some entities, but yeah, its more than possible!
    But other person put other tutorial for how port models and textures
    as i said, porting is an easy process, but there are too many props and textures so it might take some time doing that, but yeah, you get the idea

    I have a very good Idea but i dont know if i can finish it, I dont know if put a Wip
