NOTE The image must be .bmp, .gif or .jpg otherwise your spray won't work. To convert a spray into a .wad file, you need to download Hl TagConverter.
**Step 2**- You will need the .wad file.
**Step 3**- Locate your valve/logos folder.
NOTE If you have multiple valve/logos folders (eg. logos_blah) the tempdecal.wad file MUST be copied to all of them.
**Step 4**- This needs to be placed in the valve/logos folder (if there is a tempdecal.wad file in the folder already, it must be removed). Make sure the file is named tempdecal. Rename it if it is not already tempdecal.wad.
NOTE Make sure the .wad is set to read only by right-clicking and selecting properties!
Could you please update this tut? I'm making default style sprays for cs 1.6 and the files have to be saved in valve/logos folder. I mention this in the installation instructions, but just in case someone doesn't notice and follows this link he will make it wrong.
hi guys i did everything same what u said,, but its not working,,, when i go to the game and want to change my sprays it shows the default logos only........ and m using win 7.... will it be a problem using win 7 for the spray
