An automatic BFRES converter to convert Wii U models, animations and textures to Switch.  If you plan to post these conversions, please make sure you have the proper permissions from the original author of the mod to do so.

Usage

Make sure you have the dot net framework installed (4.6.2 or higher)

Open a command line window in the same folder where the program is, then type BfresPlatformConverter.exe (filenames to convert here).  

Example:
BfresPlatformConverter.exe Animal_Bass.sbfres Animal_Bass.Tex1.sbfres

Supports converting from files with .bfres and .sbfres.

Files will output to the SwitchConverted folder. Note: Switch to Wii U does not work yet!

For textures with mipmaps, you must include .Tex2.sbfres aswell! These are either in the game update's Model folder or the Pack files like Pack/TitleBG.pack or Pack/Dungeon###.pack if it's a dungeon. 

Also very important, make sure you adjust the RSTB table if you get invisible models or crashes. Some mods require this to be edited.

If editing the RSTB crashes, you may need to alter the decompressed file size of the mod. Switch handles resources differently than Wii U so it's difficult to automatically convert mods with size alterations due to this issue.

Currently supports BOTW. Plan to add more supported games in the future.

    excuse me but did you ever make a tutorial on how to mod on animal crossing new leaf - like for example replacing your character's clothes to something else?? i want to know how to do this because i am trying to replace the character default undergarments that they wear when you take off all your clothes in the game.

    i am tired of wearing obvious boxers and a shirt :/ . it looks ugly as heck.

    but does this mean any BFRES Wii U mod can be converted to Switch? 
    for example, the unlimited storage or crafting mods for Wii U?

    This is so cool, always wanted this but had no idea it was actually coming. Thanks for all the hard work you do!

    By the way... what about materials, aren't they different? Does this handle that or do you have to manually replace those still?
