For people who have wasted time trying to find an ADX converter and player, I gift you something I found which took ages.
I recommend you to use this software simply because it's easy to use, and it doesn't invert audio channels like the PES Converter does.
I'm uploading this just to save people's time from constantly searching. In no way am I uploading this just to take the credit. I don't own this, but I use this, and I thought it'd be best to share it with all of you to save your time.
NOTE > You’re going to need to install an audio program called “Goldwave”. This program makes it easy to obtain sample numbers (needed for looping) and other useful things, as well as having support for most audio codecs.
To get the sample numbers, click “Set” in Goldwave and click on “sample-based”. The blue handles you can drag on audio files in this program will set the loop points.
If saving the audio as a .wav and putting it into the converter shows the sample number “36”, you need to save the file as an Apple .aiff. This is essentially the same as a PCM Wav file.
ADX files tend to be a but quieter than the original volume, so be careful of how quiet your file is. ADXs are around 3 dB (lower than) quieter than normal sound files.
I've tried converting my ADZ1.wav file into ADX with this converter i've discovered... And when i've tried to listen to the ADX file... It was all B A S S B O O S T E D. Also i can't set custom loops on the file for some reason... And it says "Unknown" in the type field. Is my ADZ1.wav file messed up or something?
