You've got a PCI-E slot most likely. Your other card may or may not be using this slot currently (depends on if it's integrated or not). EDIT: Check this card out it is within your price range and will perform admirably for gaming.

You're going to be pretty limited with an AGP slot anyway.

TBH it would be better to just save up for an entirely new PC. (Although if you build it yourself you can salvage some parts from your old PC.)

According to Dell's website this PC should have a PCI-E slot in it. If you aren't inclined to believe me then look it up. The X600 Pro is a PCI-E card that was based on the R300 family of graphics processors. The X600 was only released as a PCI-E card. It's all here if you've really got to see it. As for a graphics card my previous recommendation stands (The 8800GTS).

EVGA 8800GT, on Newegg, about $329.99. Beats the GTS in performance and price ATM.

Urm there should be a switch I'm not to sure, I recomend the Nvida 8500 top end and cheap for it's power, just as good as a 8800 (nvida's 'most pwoerfull grafix card')

8500 as powerful as the 8800? I'm sorry but that's just a load of crap, the 8500 is supposed to be a low end budget graphics card, and the 8800's are high-end enthusiast. There's no way an 8500 can beat any 8800.

Since you have a PCI-e slot, go for the 8800. GTX is you can afford it, but if not, the GT will suffice. In any case, you would want to get a card by eVGA. GTX, with quake wars GTX with crysisi

I agree. a Geforce 8800GT is best value out there. It beats out the 8800GTS and is less expensive than it. I wouldn't even bother with the GTX since they're so expensive and it's pretty late in it's life cycle. I'm sure nVidia will be releasing a new high-end card around spring, maybe, costing about the same.
