I'm uncertain whether the following suggestion would be possible due to the way you interface with HL. Anyway, I currently have scripts setup to initiate a hlamp play command and at the same time, nosound 1 so that my CS sounds are muted while the songs are playing. Inversely, a hlamp pause and nosound 0 commands to pause and resume CS sounds. I have this bound to a single key so that it toggles between the two modes (Yes I realise that's not very difficult) I'm interested to know, is it possible HLamp could detect player death, round start or map change and allow a set of commands to be issued? ie. when i die i want winamp to fire back up and ingame sound to stop. when the round begins, have winamp pause and ingame sounds to return. Is this something that should be done from within HL rather than HLAmp? any suggestions or comments anyone? Salty.
