    Any software changes?
    Wireless? Through a router?
What game(s) does this happen in?
Only thing I can think of right now is to check if Windows has changed your settings. I swear it has a mind of its own.
Does your internet die when you're surfing?
If you have Xbox Live or a Wii, you might consider trying those.

That's really weird. I have no idea. Maybe your router is going out. I know mine does this too. I was hoping to find a common thing. I just reset my router and I'm good.

Sometimes, this happens to me too, and I also have sbc. All I do is restart the modem.

What I always did, cause I had this when I got my old internet. Go to start > run > cmd and type in "ipconfig /release" that may take a while and then "inconfig /renew" after that it might work.

    Without the quotes ofcourse
