Hey, just wondering if anyone else suffers counter-strike:source crashing every five mintues? It happens on both my desktop pc and my laptop, although my laptop runs it better. But it seems to find a large variety of ways to crash, some with error messages, some that make the screen go flickery and broken imaged. Some days its not too bad but it really does get annoying when 2 minutes after restarting it, it crashes again! >=[ thanks x

Did you tried to re-install ? Defragment your hard drive, scanning for spyware and virusses ? Do you have the newest drivers for your graphic card etc. ?

    Computer specifactions?

My laptop: amd turion 64x2, 2gig ram, nvidia geforce 6100, 80 gig hard drive. it should be more than capable of running it.
Ive reninstalled it about 5 times, defragged and virus scanned, all drivers up to date, yet it still crashes. I also have all graphics settings on low, which give about 180 fps or so, yet still crashes. Any other ideas?

Steam must be gay :/ everybody got problems with steam games nowadays :/
Get newest drivers, remove everything which have to do with steam. Clean up ur registery, go "run" -> then type in "regedit" -> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Find all steam or valve files u can find and delete them ;) Good luck!

Get a ps3 they dont crash

you may need to reinstal windows

    get a rejestry cleaner
    and a spy were
    and ad were
    and you should be good

theres your prob set your grafix to high

if there on low the processer is handling all the work causing the over heat
and with that kinda card you have you should be able to to run every thing on full

i have a 900 MEGA hz comp with a gforce 2 and i keep my grafix on high and it runs better
    go fig
    aim for the head?
