Okay, before you jump the gun and call it shit, keep in mind, this is my first attempt at a New Skin. I made this completely from scratch. Now, some problems you may mention are: too dark shadow on the bottom, and not enough detail. I know, this is my first attempt, so don't expect much. I plan to work on it, and make it better with time. Feedback is needed.
It looks horrible. MP5 stocks are supposed to be synthetic. So add some noise in there, darken it a bit. The metal plate on the back is WAY too fat, half it or 1/4. Darken it up, sharpen. The highlights are too strong. It's supposed to represent sand-paper like texture, but with your skin, it looks like metal. Change to MUCH weaker highlights. The bottom highlight is also WAY too dark. It's as if a spotlight is on top of that thing.
Look at some tuts at CDG and Sourceblog. They help a lot.

I try not to give crap. I just give you the truth so you can further improve on your skinning. People that say it's great do not help at all.
I know. I really do appreciate it. It's hard to take critisism in stride, but I'm not going to pull a rfcbeach and leave. I'll learn more with constructive things, rather than false statements of "th1s 1z t3h aw3s0m3"
