    Why dont you people have faith in valve? Im tired of it. You guys bitch and moan about valve. Well, guess what? You still buy their games. There must be a large obstacle in the way of them incorporating func_vehicle, or else, it would be done.

    Current Maps seem too tight, vechicles require big open spaces which the source engine renders with horrible fps for bad gfx cards, thus excluding part of the market. But then there are always the custom vehicle maps, and Gmod ;)

    Valve isn't putting vehicles in css. it creates a lot of issues with physics. and if any of you have played gary's mod, when people start messing with physics objects, even if its just a few, it gets laggy really fast.

    Exactly. The only time i see vehicles coming into play would be in later versions of Counter Strike, whenever that might be.

    I dont think valve will EVER put vehicles in source tbh ... its not meant for vehicles, its like an infantry game if you get what i mean. it would totaly demolish source as we know it.

    then all the rappers would play, and be like "YEEEE man, i just ran over 12b0xcer with my neon pink H2, YEEEE!" . but yea, vehicles would really take the fun out of CS. well walking can get boring, unless its a vehicle ocmbat map, i see it as stupid.

    thats not true at all , css is a mod from HL2 wich has vehicels. Driving the buggy and airboat in css is a very realistic thing. all someone needs to do is get the script files and everything realted to the vehicle and then add the vehicle to hammer. CSS is just a mod from HL2. but if your looking for vehicels in maps like there is in bf2 there thats way way way off .

    They removed the vehicle code from CSS completely. You would need to complete rebuild css to include the vehicles.

    I think that would be worth it really , just i think its impossible cuz you can only copy files from the GCF's not edit them at all

    Counter-Strike: Source can't handle vehicles like the ones from HL2, if there are going to be any automobiles at all, they will probably be on tracks.

    Counter Strike isn't meant for vehicle combat. It is based around working as a well orginized team in close combat maps to complete an objective. Sure custom maps like crazy tank would own on source but from what I hear the coding doesn't allow it to work smoothly.

    If you want a vehicle game buy Battlefield 2.

    Personally I'd like the idea, but not as a part of CS:S. More like a CS:S mod of the ut2004 ONS gametype.
