For the money a 6600GT Nvidia is the best for the bucks. That is what i have and i highly recommend one. Great card, and will do just about anything out there. I run doom 3 on high 1072 res, hl2 same, and bf 2 at medium. All runs great and looks great. Just hope you got the cpu power to back it up. Why hello thar sexeh bunz. 9800 Pro, imo. Only good nVidia out of the FX series is the 5950 and the 6800. Depends, if you care if it's nVidia or ATI. If you don't care, I suggest ATI. nVidia drivers suck right now. (as I've heard) URL to post: -

Do NOT listen to anyone who say that Nvidia's driver's suck. They have sharp things up their ass, and just want attention. Botch tells me that your looking at the x800 non pro. you may wanna find a comparison between that and the 6800 non-ultra. they both are priced about the same.. and prolly perform about the same.
