What do you guys think of de_prodigy? Is it a faithful adaptation of the original? Any problems with it? Any additions or new gameplay behaviours that you enjoy? I find it's a little harder on the graphics card/CPU than some of the other maps, i'd imagine it's the amount of physics objects you can push around. I also couldn't help but notice the 90 degree turns in the cart rail track around the map ;) All in all i quite like it, mainly because it's the only close quarter official css map, and i like using shotguns, paras, etc which aren’t as effective on open maps like dust and Aztec.

    When I first played it I realised it was so much different then the original one, totally different kind of gameplay.
    Just keepin' it fresh.

    The only complaint I have is the fact that the cliff is gone. That should have been exploited as a means to produce the illusion of depth within the map. This is the source engine after all...I wanna see some crap that's miles away!

    Yep, it gets a bit cluttered. I also got stuck on a player when we both tried to jump through the window near T spawn together.

    I never played the original, but the CS:S version seems to be quite popular. My only real complaint is that the corridors are narrow, it's hard to run side-by-side with teammates. Then if barrels get knocked over, you lose your speed advantage. Otherwise, it's a fun map.
