If you prefer vanilla Crusade over CMC+, why so? - A Forum Thread for Super Smash Bros. Crusade.

On a lot of the character mods, I've been seeing several different comments asking if a character would work for vanilla in addition CMC+. Of course, the easy reason why is that CMC+ was actively modified/forked to add far more mod-friendliness over vanilla Crusade, but still, some people seem to wish a character would be compatible with vanilla due to preference. So as someone who does prefer CMC+, I'm gonna ask: Why do you prefer vanilla? Is it because CMC+ is too much of a download? Is it because vanilla is less overwhelming because it has less content? Is it because vanilla is somehow more "official"? If you prefer vanilla, I want to hear you out with no prejudice.
