Custom weapon sounds cut off - A Forum Thread for Counter-Strike: Source

Custom weapon mod

So, i don't know how to say it but here's the video example..
- Fire sounds got cut off whenever i play other animation
- Reload sounds not playing properly 

please let me know how to fix this, i want to release this skins as soon as the ShadowRun fix the texture

    That's pretty normal. The sound is too long.

    Check the channel in the script file.
    Shoot sounds should be CHAN_WEAPON, others should be CHAN_ITEM.

    Hey, taking into account what Alfa1337 said. The problem could not only be the lenght but also the size of the audio file.

    I have experienced issues when modding sounds for a game before. I had to reduce the lenght and quality of the audio and even turn it into single channel. Everything to make it work properly. It was an old game so I don't think you'll have to go that far with CSS.

    So... Maybe you could try to reduce filesize a little bit, however you can.
