how to add models in a map?[tanks,sandbags,trees] - A Forum Thread for Day of Defeat

hi I am mapping in day of defeat. how do I add models? like tanks sandbags trees?
in source engine I can easily add models with prop_static but how do  Ido that in day of defeat goldsrc engine?

    Cycler_sprite and use blue/black brush on model with ADDITIVE flag and fx 0, to avoid clipping

    DOD is a little more polished than other mods. Use env_model for the model, to make it solid use a func_wall with the textures below from hlbasics.wad as when they are shot they make different sounds and bullet effects.

    cr_matsand   -- for sandbags
    cr_matmetal  for metal objects
    cr_matwood  -- wodden objects
    cr_matleaf  -- for leafs

    For sandbags that you can use an mg from add an dod_trigger_sandbag coverd in AAATrigger and set the yaw to the direction you shoot in.
