One Slot Jump Height, Speed Etc.

A Forum Thread for Super Smash Bros. (Wii U)

So I've FINALLY Started to figure out 1-slot movesets and I LOVE IT!!! I figured out how to adjust damage but I don't know how to do a few things. I would like to know if anyone knows how to mod these certain things while only affecting 1-slot.

1. Jump Height.
2. Run Speed
3. Launch Rate
4. Changing characters from light to heavy and vice versa
5. Add effects to certain moves

If anyone could tell me how to do this I would be very grateful!

On a side note, anyone know how to make a character use a different custom move while on a different slot? Like Make a Protoman skin use the Bomb instead of Metal Blade? Thanks!!!

    To answer the last question, study these two pages:

    here and here

    It involves the expression.bin file of any particular character. An example I've been sitting on puts the Wolf-type customs on one slot, but can be expanded to cover more depending on the variables listed in articles above.

    I've made a lot of 1slot, maybe i can help.

    1+2. In theory windbox could help but i never tried, changing frame speed won't work, those value are stored in "fighter_param". Windbox are a mess, becareful. Adding momentum can be useful too.

    3+4. Lauch rate kinda equal weight, but yes it's possible. U gotta find the right events tho.

    5. It's easy, tho you will need this and combine it with a 1slot script

    6. Basically what Sven said. Yes it's ACMD. If bind it to wait1 isn't enough, bind it to other stuff too, like walk, jump, shield. Basic actions you are sure to perform while playing.

    If u have trouble figuring things out, try to dissect already existing stuff.

    for jump height you would have to do one slot param edits, which you can do with help from a guy named "Jugeeya" he's in the smash 4 modding discord, and for changing characters from light to heavy weight, that is also done through param edits
