Changing models/textures dependent on map/goal?

A Forum Thread for Half-Life 2

Has anyone tried having models change after a specific map? Like how soldiers change into guards and then back to soldiers, and how citizens turn into rebels? I want to see how this can be applied to CPs in Anticitizen One and Follow Freeman (three CPs show up in HL2 Update instead of five soldiers in Vanilla HL2)

What about NPC status (if that is a thing), like what they are doing, such as if they're in combat or not, or are looking for the player?

    I think it is possible by some sort of RNG.like you’re having random npc pack per map.
    ask shadowrun who helped with improved meetrocop redux...he knows this theme well
