Hello, so the problem is the following, i have a skin that i want but the skin has built in it's own animations the inspect and it gets annoying the ammount of times i die because of it, so i wanted to take it away.
In this case the animation for the inspect is in the reload.smd so i decompiled the model and substituted the reload.smd for one from another model that just has the simple reload no inspect.
Then i try to compile and it dosen't work i tried in jed's and stopped working i tried in milkshape and stopped working.
If the two models, the one you want and the one that has the simple reload animation, have different rigs (bones) it will give you errors. Check if the other model's bones are exactly the same number as the one you're working on and if the names of the bones are the same.
Didn't understand - this inspect anims are used when you don't shoot for some time, right?
If so - than your trouble can be simply solved.
1) Decompile skin completely; 2) Find "IDLE" animation sequence (Inspect is inside it); 3) Open this sequence with NotePad(!!!); 4) Delete all the frames aside 0 frame. Leave 0 frame with all bones or it wouldn't work; 5) Save it and compile the skin;
