Working with .xwb file for changing a player's gru - A Forum Thread for Top Spin 2.

Hello everyone! I've created this topic for the Top Spin 2 section game because it's the game I'm working on but the question is rather general. So in this game there are tennis players which grunt. For this there are 2 files named Grunts.xsb and Grunts.xwb I want to change one of the grunts with the grunt of some other player. For this, I used unxwb to unpack the .wav files in Grunts.xwb, used LameXP to change the .wav files compression format and then I used XACT3 to repack the .wav files into a new wavebank. This time, however, I replaced one of the existing 0000003c.wav files with my file named the same way. After guessing the compression preset, the file size was as close as possible, 20 bytes difference which I assumes was because of the file I changed. However, I didn't know whether the .xwb was In-Memory or Streaming so I took turns and checked whichever worked, none. The thing is the game doesn't crash or anything, it's just that you can't hear the grunts play with these files. The original back-up works. I've heard that there is a tool version and file version for each .xwb which I think I was able to spot with a Hex Editor but I am clueless on what to do next. Maybe someone could help me? Also, I hope I posted this in the right section. Anticipated thanks!
