Help? Modding wii u 5.5.1 without gamepad/ds vc - A Forum Thread for Super Smash Bros. (Wii U).

My idiot cats ate my gamepad's cord and i'm too cheap to buy a ds game. What started off as me wanting to go to dragcave.net on my wii u escalated into a complete panic when I realized that my cats chewed up my wii u gamepad's charger, and that I would be unable to mod the thing any further. I haven't used my wii u in months due to not having a decent tv, moving (It was in a storage unit thingy for like 4 months) me not wanting to play smash on the gamepad, and getting a nintendo switch. Now i'm moving back to using both wii u, AND switch, and i've begun modding the wii u. The first thing that I did was get CTGP-R on the VWii via SmashStack, As well as various character and texture mods for it. When the whole 5.5.2 problems started, I was sorta lucky to be unable to use the wii u honestly, and when it was online, I immediately disabled updates. While I will be ordering a replacement charger relatively soon, i'd rather not have to wait EVEN LONGER to use this stupid thing again. While a DS title may be a thing I get in the future, i'd rather not spend any money that I don't have to. Since it's still on 5.5.1, there's hope for there being a solution. Please, anyone with any info, big or small, reply. I need all the help I can get. -Frostiikin
