Make an ep2 mod?

A Forum Thread for Half-Life 2: Episode Two

So I've been creating a Hl2 mod in Source SDK 2013 and I already have all my folders and everything set up. I've also already begun mapping for it, but I just remembered all the content and npcs that Episode 2 has and Hl2 doesn't. Is there any way I could edit my folders and game files to become an Episode 2 mod?

    You should just be able to edit the GameInfo.txt file of the mod and tell it to mount the Episode 2 .VPK depot files instead.

    I think the AppID of HL2 is something like 220. I know the AppID of Episode is 420, so find the AppID in the config file, and move the order around so Episode 2 mounts first.
